(ya...i do...) its supposedly grade 5 reading level. but hey!? still fun. i like it...a lot. ahh! you read my profile. eep! i should prob. spend more time on that...meh...most people dont care about profiles...im good. ya...patricia beatty wrote a couple books...but i havent liked any of them except for turn homeward hannalee. oh my... i sound so pessimistic. somebody slap me *wait no, dont.
while we're on the note of grade five books:
bridge to teribithia
a taste of blackberries
i don't know if you read those in grade 5 like we did, but back then they were pretty good quality.
Bridge to Terabithia was a really really good book. I read it in grade 5 too :P. I read a lot of good books when I was younger that I probably wouldn't like now just because I'm older. But that makes sense so that's fine with me.
actually...i didnt read the bridge to teribithia...but i read the blackberry one! dont really remember it...oh well.
im about to start reading les miserables! someone join me! wow...that's going to be a long read. bleh! oh well...ill be prepared for next years drama production...guess what it is? les miserables! but mr. peters is writing it.
i have to get on with the reading of that book.
but yeah, grade five focused on death for some reason. and that's when everyone's relatives seemed to be dying -- it was harsh.
ouch...poor kids. and ya you should
are you trying out next year?
Ohhhhhhhh i'll read Les Miserables with you Tara :P.
my grade five teacher told us it was focusing on "friendships" not death, i mean all the different novels we were reading. i dunno what the other ones were.
ya we did freidnships too
yay! read it! jsut to warn you kathleen. its long.
Haha okay. I'll read it really fast then to get through it ;). That's what I did with Ivan Hoe to get more English pages, and then I didn't get the ending. Haha. But I was really sick of reading.
im going to read les miserables but use it for english pages...oops...going to write summarys on it now so i remember it. then just skim through it in september...if that's possible...
