the absolute, drop-dead, make-me-fuzzy-headed, most confusing thing for me lately has been...i seriously cannot get used to the fact that i know a john, a jonathan, and yet another jonathan..(at least), all of which i talk to every day. [on a good day] the worst part of it is: berg used to be a full out jonathan and now he's 'jon' to me and i dont know why, and feddema used to be...i dont remember. but he's a jon now too. [part time]. and then john. you're like me..its almost impossible to shorten up a name that only has four letters. even worse for you cause you have one syllable. so you're still john. which makes...three jon's! how do i know who's who?
(be proud, this made perfect sense)

jonathan (berg) will always be jonathan to me though never 'jon' sounds so weird
do like we do and use last names. though john gets shotty on being called 'jon' because that's actually closer to his name.
jonathan = berg, hamburgler, bergundy, j-berg, etc.
why don't you colour coordinate them? one can be red, another blue, and the other... i think yellow... and if thats too long cuz it has 2 syllables... then green!
yep, the curse of being called un-shortenable names. the only thing people ever nickname me is 'hannahbanana' and they say it with enough relish and verve you'd think it was as fresh as the dawn. ugh.

I'll say. Now I have to handle a full-time job as Feddema, plus a new part-time Jon job. Not to mention all the nicknames I run on the sides.
you don't understand, the glory in saying 'hannahbanana' is in knowing everyone's thought of it before and knowing how much you hate it.

Yeah I don't even notice anymore, I have like a million different names. eg. AB, Geiseppe, Azn etc.
yeah i know tala, you know exactly what you're doing, but you manage to make it *sound* a certain way. besides, i don't hate it. gee. its like you and... being tall. tala.
it just makes it more fun to come up w/ new names for them in order to differentiate.
and tell jon (sorry, Tall One, so you know which i'm talking about) to make his blog allow anonymous comments!
i like nicknames... especially the weird ones that nobody has... cuz then it makes you more original... example hundreds of people have the name Johanna, but how many have Joey-o, or... Jobo... etc.?

You know what puzzles me? Why most Jonathan's just shorten their names to Jon and not Nathan. Because both are in there. However, if you started calling one of them Nathan, Mr. Kalk would be lost in the dark.
Why don't you just called Feddema.... well, Feddema? Or J-Fed, FedEx, Feddy Cent, etc.?
And Jonathan Berg could be the BergHouse, and John would be... John.
